CV Image The Mennonite Congregation of Boston meets at the Harvard Epworth United Methodist Church at the listed address, on the campus of Harvard University.  We meet on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30 with fellowship afterward.  We DO NOT meet on the last Sunday of each month. Please refer to the posted schedule for details about each service.

“New Voices ” – This is another evening to hear

from and about folks who are newer participants in

our congregation.

Sunday, May 11 

“On Immigration” - Tammy Bean will be sharing

her thoughts and experiences related to

immigration, drawing on her work at the

International Institute of Boston.
 

Sunday, May 18 

"An Evening with Louise Dunlap, author

of /Undoing the Silence: Six Tools for Social

Change Writing" Louise will share insights from

her work with silenced writers and present tools for

speaking out in writing to address the great

problems of our times. Louise has been an activist,

writer and teacher for over 40 years, starting with

the Free Speech Movement of the 1960s. She

currently teaches at Tufts University, lives in

Cambridge , serves on the Cambridge Peace

Commission, teaches yoga, and practices Buddhist

meditation.  She is spending 2008 traveling to

encourage individuals and groups to speak out for

deep change in our nation and world.

Monday, May 26 

Annual Memorial Day Picnic – This will be held 

at the home of Rich and Sara Wyse Wenger, 42 Mott

Street, Arlington, MA     (781) 643-2949. We will

gather at 12 Noon; please bring your own table

service and picnic fare & drinks to share.
